This is to notify all jurors who was summoned to appear in court on Monday, January 22nd at 9:30 am, that you do not need to report. Court has been cancelled. You are excused from serving during this trial week with the thanks of the court. There was a recording set with this same message.
To all Worth County U S Military Verterans: RECORDING YOUR DD-214 (Discharge) FOR SAFEKEEPING AT THE CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT (NO CHARGE)
It have been discovered that many veterans do not know about having their DD-214 recorded for safekeeping. Even if your DD-214 has been recorded somewhere else and you are now living in Worth County, simply bring your DD-214 to the Clerk of Superior Court’s Office located at 201 North Main Street, Courthouse Room #13, and we will record it in our records. If there comes a time you should need a certified copy, then we will be able to provide one for you for a small fee. This service is free to all our veterans that my office is delighted to offer in having your DD-214 recorded.
DD-214 is issued by the Department of Defense when a person is discharged by the military.
WE APPRECIATE ALL VETERANS FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SACRIFICE TO OUR COUNTRY
Attention all jurors: If you were summoned to appear for jury duty on Monday, October 30th you do not need to report. Court was cancelled for this trial week. You can also call the office and listen to the recording for those that pass the word on to other for clarification. Thank you
